Die Besiedlung von im Krieg eroberten Gebieten (Hier: Krieg von 1967, Westjordanland, Gaza, Golanhöhen) ist völkerrechtlich verboten und auch nach der 4. Genfer Konvention nicht zulässig.
Ab und zu lese ich mit leicht säuerlichem Amüsement in unseren Mainstream-Medien, dass die israelische Regierung „Illegale Siedlungsposten abreißen ließ“. Dazu kann ich nur bemerken, dass es überhaupt keine legalen Siedlungen in besetzten Gebieten geben kann. Das hat schon die Resolution 242 des UN- Sicherheitsrates völkerrechtlich verbindlich ausdrücklich festgestellt.
Diese Resolution – wie zur Zeit ungefähr 100 andere – wurde von der Regierung Israels nicht mal ignoriert; ungefähr 40 weitere Resolutionen wurden von der Schutzmacht USA per Veto blockiert.

Der nicht mehr unter uns weilende Saddam Hussein hat kontrastweise nur eine einzige Resolution des UN-Sicherheitsrats nicht honoriert (Nr. 660) – und in Nullkommanichts sind bei ihm die Amerikaner einmarschiert. 2003 sogar ohne Ermächtigung der UNO.
Zweierlei Recht? Anscheinend, oder doch eher offensichtlich?

Resolutionen der Generalversammlung sind zwar - im Gegensatz zu denen des Sicherheitsrates - nicht völkerrechtlich verbindlich. Warum wurde dann sogar diese blockiert?
Ich halte nicht viel von den Diktatoren in Libyen und dem Iran, aber in einem Punkt haben sie recht: Der Staat Israel verübt einen (wenn auch schleichenden) Völkermord an den Palästinensern. Nach dem Vorbild der Siedler in Nordamerika – was wir nicht killen können sperren wir in Reservate (siehe Gaza).
Seit vielen Jahren kenne ich israelische Bürger als ganz normale, weltoffene und liebenswerte Menschen. Das Problem sind die ultra-orthodoxen, fanatisch religiösen, rechtsradikalen, frauenfeindlichen, noch in vorbiblischen Zeiten verhafteten Israelis, die allen Ernstes immer noch behaupten, dass Gott persönlich und schriftlich(!) ihnen das Gelobte Land als Eigentum übertragen hätte. Diese Leute haben leider sehr viel Einfluss auf die Regierung eines ansonsten modernen Staates.
Vor einigen Jahren habe ich diese Website gefunden: http://www.templemountfaithful.org/ Die schlimmsten Hetzartikel gegen 'Untermenschen' (Palästinenser) sind inzwischen entfernt worden, aber der Rest ist immer noch erschreckend. (Englisch). Damals musste sich sogar die UNO noch als „Gottlose Institution“ bezeichnen lassen.
Als Beispiel zitiere ich Anfang und Ende eines dortigen Artikels mit dem Titel The U.N. Against Jerusalem and Israel – einer Übersetzung oder eines Kommentars werde ich mich tunlichst enthalten:
„On 2nd December, 1998, the General Assembly of the U.N. passed a number of resolutions against Israeli. The first stated that Israeli sovereignty and law in Jerusalem is illegal. The decision also stated that the U.N. regrets that two embassies, those of Costa Rica and El Salvador, are in Jerusalem in this way they recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel . 149 states voted in favor of the first resolution. He is determined not to allow any one of them to even touch the people and land of Israel. The people of Israel are dedicated to be faithful to the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to His Word and to the land that He gave them in an eternal covenant, to Jerusalem and to the Temple Mount. Whether all the nations want it or not, G-d will soon accomplish His prophetic plans for Israel. He will rebuild His House and Mashiach ben David will soon come. In the G-d of Israel we trust. „

It’s unbelievable, but it seems that IAEA-head Mohammed ElBaradei is finally taking the threat Iran poses to the Middle East and the rest of the world serious.“Iran is the number one threat to the Middle East,” he said.
Oh, excuse me, that’s a typo right there. Hehe, of course he didn’t say the above.
Well, not about Iran, that is:
At a joint press conference with Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization chief Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran, ElBaradei brought Israel under spotlight and said that The Tel Aviv regime has refused to allow inspections into its nuclear installations for 30years, the report said.
“Israel is the number one threat to the Middle East given the nuclear arms it possesses,” ElBaradei was quoted as saying.He wants Israel to allow “inspections,” and says that the Obama administration has taken some “important steps” to make this indeed happen. (Hervorhebungen von mir)
Der Chef der IAEA sagt was gegen Israel? Naja – seine Amtszeit endet bald, und da darf er vielleicht schon mal was sagen, was er früher sich nicht getraut hat...
Aber dann geht’s weiter:
What a joke this man is – and the same goes for the organization he represents. Iran is talking about wiping Israel off the map, it’s working hard on developing the weapons to do so, and ElBaradei decided to, that’s right, attack the Jewish nation-state.
Disgraceful. The UN, the IAEA, all have become caricatures of themselves.Eine Beurteilung dieser Aussage bleibt meinen Lesern überlassen.
Religiöser Fanatismus – egal aus welcher Richtung – ist eine permanente Bedrohung des Weltfriedens. Es wird höchste Zeit, dass die Weltgemeinschaft den Schmusekurs gegenüber den Fanatikern in Israel korrigiert und auch dort Völkerrecht durchsetzt.
Nun warte ich auf das Schwingen der Antisemitismuskeule, mit der sich anscheinend auch internationales Recht zerschmettern lässt.
